Our Commitment
Nexus Interiors Australia Pty Ltd is committed to supporting reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) outlines our commitment to building respectful relationships, increasing understanding, and identifying opportunities to contribute positively through our business practices.
Building Relationships
We are focused on developing respectful and meaningful relationships by:
- Acknowledging Traditional Custodians at key meetings and events
- Participating in reconciliation initiatives such as National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week
- Exploring opportunities to engage with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations
Showing Respect
We are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace by:
- Increasing awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives
- Promoting culturally respectful behaviours and language across our business
- Reviewing our practices to ensure they support inclusivity and respect
 Creating Opportunities
We aim to identify opportunities to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation by:
- Exploring engagement with Indigenous-owned businesses where appropriate
- Considering pathways to support Indigenous employment as our business grows
- Reviewing procurement practices to encourage inclusive supplier engagement
Accountability and Progress
Our RAP is supported by senior leadership and will be reviewed periodically to ensure actions remain meaningful and achievable. As our understanding and capacity grow, we are committed to strengthening our approach to reconciliation over time.
